What is The Real Meaning of Education?

In short, education can be understood as a conscious entity and planned effort performed by an individual in order to realize the learning process which aims to develop so many potential of one individual in the form of spiritual intelligence, self-control, development of personality, and brain-intelligence, as well as the skills needed by him self and society. So we might say that educational processes are the kind of humanities, an entity which has simple meaning: of education is one self potential exploration with emphasis on the search process itself. So then, it is not hard as we may imagine, is it not?

Relying on the points above, there are also many people who more concerned with the end result being the educational process they are following. At this point, education was more understood as entities concerned only with graduation and diploma, so that there are many people willing to – if need be and a lot going on – take a short cut, cut the most important and fundamental process, but the most difficult part of the understanding of education: that is, the search for knowledge process.

Nevertheless, many educated people whom they had pragmatic reasons when involved in educational process, that is, so that in the future they could get a job with high income in it. Indeed, such reasoning is not wrong, but judging from so many facts which have shown that there are many educational process of which does not run properly, and then we need to think again: what is the real meaning of education for ourselves?
